Competence
The profile combines practical technical field work with advanced analysis and physics-based modelling. It is the combination – not either side in isolation – that creates the unique value: the ability to understand a system in reality and recreate it analytically.
Descriptions are kept deliberately general due to confidentiality.
Profile and CV
Senior systems engineer
Extensive experience with complex technical systems – from physical field work in real plants to advanced model-based analysis and training.
The core strength is working without requiring complete documentation: reconstructing a system based on observations, measurements and images, then analysing it with physics-based models.
CV is adapted to the assignment requirements. A 1-page fact sheet can also be prepared.
Core competence
Field analysis and measurement
- Inspection and measurement in real plants
- Thermography, flow measurement, pressure and temperature
- Reconstruction without complete documentation
System reconstruction
- System mapping based on observations
- Identification of real connections and dependencies
- Basis for model and analysis
Analysis and modelling
- Physics-based models and digital twins
- Transient analysis and dynamic processes
- Parameter studies and sensitivity analysis
Root cause identification
- System dependencies and causal relationships
- Comparison against real behaviour
- Concrete, implementable corrective actions

Training and knowledge transfer
- Simplified models and simulators
- Workshops and technical reviews
- Material adapted to the recipient's level
Delivery capability
- Concrete action proposals: implementable recommendations grounded in the system's real conditions.
- Traceable decision support: clear assumptions, method and version ID – adapted for review.
- Reproducible analysis packages: scripts, notebooks or calculation templates the customer can re-use.
- Training material: pedagogical models, simulators and documentation adapted to the recipient.
- Risk-adapted quality assurance: from rapid expert input to extended verification and peer review.
Discuss an assignment
Briefly describe the system, the problem and what type of deliverable is needed – and a proposal will follow.
